This policy explains what personal information is collected through this website, why it is collected, how it is kept and what rights you have over it. It applies to the site operated by Limor Yosifovich (the artist / "the studio").
01General
This site is a portfolio site for contemporary textile art. It is used to present works, share information about commissions and workshops, and receive enquiries. It does not operate an online shop and does not process payments.
The studio is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and applicable data protection principles. Use of the site constitutes agreement to this policy.
This policy is written in the masculine form in Hebrew for convenience only and refers to all genders equally.
02What information is collected
Information you provide. When you fill in the contact form or write to the studio directly, the following may be collected: your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
Technical information. Like most websites, general technical data is recorded automatically: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
No sensitive categories of data are requested, and there is no obligation to provide any information. Not providing details simply means the studio cannot reply to you.
03Why it is used
- To reply to enquiries about commissions, acquisitions, workshops, exhibitions and press.
- To maintain a record of correspondence relating to a commission or a project.
- To improve the site, its content and its accessibility, on the basis of aggregated statistics.
- To meet legal obligations where these apply.
Your details are not sold, rented or traded. You will not be added to a mailing list without your explicit consent.
04Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. Functional, analytical and marketing cookies are only set with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner on your first visit.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie preferences control on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.
05Third parties
Personal information is not passed to third parties, except in the following cases:
- Service providers who operate the site infrastructure on the studio's behalf (hosting, email delivery, form handling, analytics), strictly for that purpose.
- Where required by law, by a court order, or by a competent authority.
- In order to defend against a legal claim relating to your use of the site.
- With your explicit consent.
The site includes links to external platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, over which the studio has no control.
06Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect the information held. No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure, and the studio cannot warrant immunity from unauthorised access.
07Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and to maintain a record of the correspondence, and thereafter for as long as required by law. You may ask for your details to be deleted at any time.
08Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law you are entitled to review information held about you, to request that inaccurate information be corrected, and to request that it be deleted. To exercise any of these rights, write to litzorlimor@gmail.com and the studio will respond within a reasonable period.
09Accessibility
The studio works to keep this site accessible to people with disabilities. Details of the measures taken, and how to report a problem, appear in the Accessibility Statement.
10Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
